Guests comments plugin allows commenting to content articles and Open Shop products by site guests. But even if you dont want guests to post comments you can switch off this option and use the plugin only for the logged-in users. The plugin supports nested comments and it works with AJAX requests, so you dont have to refresh the page after posting a comment. Unpublished comments by site guests stay unpublished until a site administrator publishes them. When someone replies to a comment you have made you get a notification email. The plugin has also an anti-flood security feature which allows you to deny repeated comments by a site guest within a configured time frame. The plugin by default asks for name and email but also supports other form elements which you can enable and set as required (phone, website, country, city).
An other cool feature is the automatic integration of the plugin to specified categories without having to integrate the plugin via the editor. This is the recommended method to integrate Guests comments plugin. In plugin parameters just type the categories IDs (comma separated) for which you want to enable the plugin and comments will be enabled to all articles of these categories. Important: The automatic integration feature requires Elxis 5.1 rev2348 or newer.
Version 1.2 The plugin can be integrated into Open Shop products too. The automatic integration is also supported for products.
