Licensing management system

License Management System (LMS) is an addon for Open Shop component that allows you to assign license or activation keys to immaterial products, like software, and sell these keys with the software. After a successful payment Open Shop will send the customer download links, if the product was downloadable, and also license keys from LMS. The license keys can be generated automatically by LMS using rules you define which provides a strong backwards validation mechanism to the generated keys.

You can use LMS to sell any kind of keys, not just license keys for software. For instance it can be used to sell lotery numbers, access codes, coupons, tickets, etc. If you think a little you will find much more interesting usages of LMS. For more information visit isopensource.com
