ViewerJS

ViewerJS content plugin is consist of an alternative and standalone solution in compare with Google Docs Viewer. You can read documents online as it uses a combination of a number of excellent open source tools that are built on HTML and JavaScript. This extension must be the easiest way to use presentations, spreadsheets, PDFs and other documents on your Elxis website without any external dependencies. No tricks, no conversions, no unexpected downtime from external services, and no plugins required – it happens to work just fine in all major browsers today from the comfort of your own web server!

ViewerJS can already natively show both PDF files and many types of Office files stored in OpenDocument Format, the open standard for office documents. ODF is available by default in almost any modern office applications such as Microsoft Office, LibreOffice, Apache OpenOffice and Calligra Suite. So upload and choose the compatible document you are interested in and the extension will do the rest for you!

Tips
- Use dismode as an attribute to viewerjs tag in order to dynamically change the display mode from button (dismode=0) to iFrame (dismode=1) and conversely!
- Use latin characters to your documents file names.
